Polyvagal Theory in the Classroom -
Working with Dysregulated Children and Young People
A one day training course covering a basic understanding of Polyvagal Theory and an exploration of how it can be used to support dysregulated children/young people. With a strong experiential emphasis, ie. lots of practical activities. Aside from empowering staff with new skills to work with children/young people, the training also supports staff wellbeing and develops self-care.
Sarah has extensive experience in the development and delivery of mental health awareness and behaviour management training in schools. She has also given talks and workshops at conferences on Polyvagal Theory and approaches to working with young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
